One of the most challenging aspects of eating a healthy and balanced diet can be finding condiments that are not full of sugar, unhealthy oils, preservatives, or other junky ingredients.

When I first started paying attention to the ingredients in the food I was buying, I realized that some of the salad dressings I grew up loving were full of ingredients that were not supportive of my overall health goals. Creamier dressings, like ranch, are often particularly notorious.

That being said, there is really nothing like a good ranch dressing to bring your salad to life or make your veggies even more delicious. Thankfully, this healthy jalapeño ranch dressing recipe has got you covered! It’s made from only real food ingredients for a delicious dressing and dip that you will love!

  • Don’t love mayo? Feel free to use plain, full-fat Greek yogurt instead if you can tolerate dairy.
  • If you would like to make a vegan version of the dressing, use a vegan mayonnaise.
  • If you want a spicier dressing, feel free to add the entire jalapeño to the dressing.
  • If you want your ranch to be a bit on the thicker side, you can start by using a little less coconut milk.
  • I have found that the dressing tastes even better a day after it sits when the flavors have a chance to meld.

    I haven’t tried duet but I’m so
Excited to do it. I have just started trying to eat healthy, slowly but surely. I was wondering once I make this dressing, how long can I keep refrigerated?

    1. Ashlea Carver says:

Hi, Geraldine! it should last in the fridge for a week!

  2. I havent tried this yet but i was wondering if there’s anything you can use to substitute the avocado with as I do not like avocados.

Or do you not taste it?

    1. Ashlea Carver says:

Hi, Adam! I would recommend using the avocado. You cannot taste it in the dressing.

  3. Louisa Walter says:

We made this over the weekend and it was delicious! Chose to use the whole jalapeno and we were very pleased with the spice level. Loved the amount of freshness from the herbs!

    1. Ashlea Carver says:

      Thank you for sharing, Louisa!

  4. Super easy, super flavorful. I put all of the ingredients in my Nutribullet and it turned out great. We like spicy, but I still used only half a jalapeno. Just the right amount of spice, will not overwhelm what you put it on. I might add more jalapeno if I was specifically making a Latin dish, like taco salad. We used normal salad ingredients – butter lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, a little onion and bell pepper for my husband. It was light and fresh. So happy to have found a tasty, creamy Whole30 dressing!

  6. For the dill and chives, I’m assuming that’s fresh herbs, right? Are the oz volume or weight? Thanks!

    1. Ashlea Carver says:

Yep! Fresh herbs and I mueasured them by volume!

  7. Your link for the mayo isn’t working. What mayo do you use? I just found your blog today and I’m obsessed! So many delicious meals!
