This Key Lime Pie Dip is made with high-protein Greek yogurt, protein powder, fresh limes, and maple syrup. Topped with graham crackers and lime wedges, it has all the flavor of key lime pie in a protein packed snack or dessert!
Why You’ll Love This Key Lime Pie Dip
Since I’ve shared my original yogurt fruit dip, I’ve kind of been on a mission to create spin-offs for every season. My pumpkin pie dip is perfect for fall and winter, but this key lime pie dip is my go-to for summer and spring! It’s going to be your new favorite snack for a few different reasons:
- It’s so easy to make – just add all the ingredients to a bowl, and whisk. You’ll have a tasty snack in minutes. It’s the perfect option when you’re hungry and need food now.
- It’s full of protein – the use of Greek yogurt and protein powder makes this recipe a protein powerhouse that satisfies your sweet tooth, keeps you full, and helps you hit your protein goals.
- It tastes just like pie – everything we do is delicious around here, and this dip is no exception! It has all the sweet, tangy flavor of fruity key lime pie with a fraction of the effort.

Recipe Ingredients
Greek Yogurt: this forms the base of the dip, creating a smooth consistency and tangy flavor without the need for cream cheese. It also adds a decent amount of protein!
Protein Powder: plain or vanilla protein powder gives the dip an extra boost of protein to make it even more filling.
Limes: you can’t have key lime pie dip without limes! We’re using both lime juice and lime zest for a bold, lime flavor.
Maple Syrup: this sweetens the recipe just a bit. Feel free to adjust to taste if you’re using a sweetened yogurt or protein powder.
Vanilla Extract: this adds a hint of vanilla flavor and helps the dip taste even more like key lime pie.
Toppings: lime slices and crushed graham crackers add the finishing touch!
Ingredient Substitutions
- Yogurt – I like to use nonfat greek yogurt for this recipe but feel free to swap low-fat or whole milk if you prefer. If you like you could swap the plain yogurt for a sweetened vanilla Greek yogurt. If you do use sweetened yogurt you’ll likely need a less maple syrup.
- Protein Powder – plain or vanilla protein powder are my favorite choices for this dip as they don’t change the flavor too drastically. However, if you prefer you could leave out the protein powder altogether.
- Maple Syrup – you can swap the maple syrup for honey or another liquid sweetener of your choice. Feel free to add more or less sweetener depending on your preference.
