Ingredients

Greek Yogurt: I like to use non-fat plain Greek yogurt for this recipe to really amp up the protein, but you could also use low-fat or full-fat yogurt. Or, if you want a little extra sweetness, feel free to use a vanilla Greek yogurt instead.

Protein Powder: choose your favorite plain protein or vanilla protein powder. Or, make this dip extra chocolatey by mixing in chocolate protein powder instead!

Cocoa Powder: I like to go with Dutch-processed for the best chocolate flavor.

Maple Syrup: this adds the right touch of sweetness to balance out some of the bitterness of the cocoa. Feel free to use a bit more if you prefer the dip on the sweeter side.

Vanilla Extract: you only need a small amount for a subtle vanilla taste, but you’ll notice if it’s not there! Just a splash helps enhance the sweetness and flavor of the dip.

What Can I Serve with This Chocolate Fruit Dip?

You could easily eat this dip on its own with a spoon, but I like to pair it with a few different things for dipping. Some of my favorite options include:

  • Fresh Strawberries
  • Green and Red Apple Slices

How Long Does Chocolate Yogurt Dip Last?

Store this recipe in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Can I Freeze This Recipe?

I don’t recommend freezing this recipe! Yogurt doesn’t thaw well, meaning the taste and texture of the dip will change significantly once thawed.
