Recipe Ingredients
Greek Yogurt: Greek yogurt makes these peach overnight oats extra creamy and packs in a bit of protein as well. You can use whole milk, low fat, or non-fat yogurt – whichever you prefer.
Milk: my go-to is unsweetened almond milk, but you can use any dairy-free or dairy milk you like best
Almond Butter: this contributes to the creamy texture and adds a boost of healthy fats. Be sure to use a natural almond butter without any added sweeteners or oils if you can find it!
Vanilla Extract: for a bit delicious vanilla flavor that helps these oats taste like peach pie.
Oats: for this recipe, we’re using gluten-free old-fashioned rolled oats. For the best results, I recommend using whole grain, old-fashioned rolled oats and not quick oats or steel-cut oats.
Chia Seeds: these add an extra dose of healthy fats and fiber and help thicken the oats, giving them a great texture.
Spices: ground ginger and ground cinnamon give the oats a bit extra warmth. We’re really trying to drive home that peach pie vibe in this recipe.
Peaches: you’ll need half a cup of peeled and finely diced peaches plus more for topping! Fresh peaches are best if you can find them, but frozen or canned will also work. Just be sure to thaw and drain them first.
Ways to Customize
Feel free to mix and match different ingredients to make this peach overnight oats recipe your own.
- Use a different nut butter – cashew butter or pecan butter will both work great in this recipe!
- Make it extra sweet – feel free to add an extra tablespoon of honey or maple syrup if you like your oats on the sweeter side.
- Keep your oats dairy-free – use your favorite dairy-free Greek yogurt (like coconut or almond milk yogurt) instead of traditional dairy yogurt.
- Add more fruit – include a handful of blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries for even more fresh fruit flavor. A handful of shredded coconut flakes would also be delicious!

How to Make Overnight Peach Oats
Step One: Add the Greek yogurt, almond milk, almond butter, and vanilla extract to a mixing bowl, and whisk until well combined.
Step Two: Fold in the oats, chia seeds, spices, and peaches. Transfer the mixture to a Weck jar or a mason jar with a lid.
Step Three: Cover the containers, and place them in the fridge to chill for at least 2 hours or ideally up to overnight.
Step Four: After the oats have chilled, remove them from the fridge, and give them a good stir. Feel free to add an extra splash of milk if you want to thin them out a bit. Then, top them with more fresh peaches, and enjoy!
Topping Ideas
These overnight peach ots are plenty filling and flavorful as is, but you can never go wrong with extra toppings! Some of my favorite options include:
- Raspberries
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
- Sliced bananas
- Almond Butter or peanut butter
- Chia seeds
- Shredded or flaked coconut
- Sliced nuts
- Whipped cream
How Long Do Overnight Oats Last?
Your overnight oats should last for 3-5 days in an airtight container in the fridge. While they will still be good to eat after a few days, know that the texture of the oats may change as they soak up more liquid.
Can You Eat Peach Overnight Oats Warm?
Yes! Overnight oats are meant to be eaten cold instead of hot, like traditional oatmeal, but you can heat them up if you prefer. I recommend giving them a try cold first, though, to see how you like them!
