Iced pumpkin drinks are my go to when the weather is still pretty warm but I’m craving all things fall and this one does not disappoint. It’s got warm notes of brown sugar from a homemade brown sugar syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and it’s made with real pumpkin puree. You’re going to love it!

Recipe Ingredients

Espresso: I use 2 shots of espresso for this recipe, but you can also use half a cup of strongly brewed coffee.

Pumpkin Purée: make sure to use pure pumpkin purée, not pumpkin pie filling. The only ingredient should be pumpkin!

Brown Sugar Simple Syrup: I use homemade simple brown sugar syrup to add that perfect sweet brown sugar flavor.

Pumpkin Pie Spice: you can use pre-made blend, or make your own pumpkin pie spice to keep on hand.

Oat Milk: I use plain unsweetened oat milk for this recipe, but you can also use almond milk or whatever milk you prefer.

  1. Made this using the simple brown sugar syrup from this website. I made unsweetened oat milk as I do not like all the oil etc added to store bought oat milk. I didn’t filter it so this isn’t as good as it could have been! LOL As another person commented – the pumpkin flavor is not overwhelming, in fact I hardly noticed it at all. I put all but the ice in the blender for just a few seconds since I already had the blender dirty from making the oat milk. I wasn’t certain the purpose of layering the espresso then the milk as it never said to stir them together. I like it though

  2. So good! Pumpkin flavor is not overwhelming. Such a good drink for the 90degree “fall” days!

  3. So delicious! I agree with you. This is my new favorite! I loved your original pumpkin cold brew but this takes the drink up a notch! Thank you!
