Festive Fizzy Cranberry Ginger Beer Mocktail
You are going to love this ginger beer mocktail! I served this as fun, festive drink for Thanksgiving this year and everyone loved it so much that I knew I was going to have to share it with you!
I ended up making a big batch and serving it as a punch alongside dinner but you can just as easily follow the recipe as written to make a smaller batch. It has the perfect combination of flavors, is sweet but not too sweet, and you can easily customize the ratios to suite your tastebuds. Seriously, you’re going to love this one!
Mocktail Ingredients
Cranberry Juice: I prefer to use unsweetened cranberry juice, but you could substitute sweetened cranberry juice if you prefer to make this a sweeter drink.
Orange Juice: I like to go with freshly squeezed orange juice because I think the orange flavor really shines through but feel free to grab a bottle of your favorite OJ if you don’t have the time.
Ginger Beer: I love a STRONG ginger flavor in this drink so I go with extra-strength ginger beer. It’s what adds the fizz to the drink and the stronger ginger flavor tastes incredible.
Garnishes: fresh or frozen cranberries, fresh rosemary sprigs, and orange slices add the perfect finishing touch to your mocktail!
How to Make Cranberry Mocktails with Ginger Beer
Step One: Add the cranberry juice and orange juice to a small mason jar, and stir well to combine.
Step Two: Fill two glasses with ice. Then, pour 2 ounces of the juice mixture into each glass.
Step Three: Next, pour 4 ounces of ginger beer into each glass, and gently stir to combine.
Step Four: Garnish the glasses with a sprig of fresh rosemary, a few cranberries, and a thinly sliced orange. Enjoy!
Tips and Tricks for the Best Mocktail
- This recipe does not call for any sweeteners, but feel free to add honey simple syrup to sweeten the cranberry mocktails to your liking.
- Mix and match different ginger beer flavors to switch up the drink.
- Combine the ingredients in a large pitcher, and store it in the refrigerator for up to 1 day if you want to plan ahead. Just note that the longer the drink sits, the less fizzy it will be!
- You can use a cocktail shaker to combine the ingredients rather than stirring by hand.
Can I Add Alcohol to My Cranberry Mocktail?
I don’t drink alcohol so I’m not the best person to ask, haha! But I’m sure you could add your favorite alcohol if you prefer!
