Ingredients

Ricotta: you’ll need 15 to 16 ounces of whole milk ricotta cheese for the base of the dip. I like whole milk ricotta for the creamiest dip but part-skim ricotta will also work.

Lemon Juice and Zest: we’re using fresh lemon to give the dip a brighter more complex flavor.

Olive Oil: a bit of oil helps combine the ingredients and gives the dip a smooth cream consistency.

Honey: you’ll finish the dip with a drizzle of honey for the perfect touch of sweetness. You could also go with hot honey if you prefer!

Fresh Thyme: this adds a beautiful pop of color and some delicious herby flavor.

Can I Make This Dip in Advance?

Yes! If you’re preparing ahead of time, I recommend omitting the toppings until just before serving. Combine the ingredients, and transfer the dip to an airtight container.

Store it in the fridge for up to 2 to 3 days. Then, give it a good stir before serving, add the honey, herbs, and salt, and enjoy!
