Easy Turkey Burgers

Description

This simple Turkey Burger recipe is the best you’ll ever make! Tender and juicy, it’s full flavor and so easy to make. Finished with melty cheese and served warm on toasted Brioche buns, these burgers make for a quick meal you’ll love! 


Ingredients

  • 1 pound 93% lean ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon whole milk Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced or grated
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese

For Serving

  • 4 brioche buns, toasted
  • thinly sliced red onion
  • lettuce leaves
  • sliced tomato
  • sliced pickles


Instructions

  1. Add the ground turkey, Greek yogurt, garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce to a large mixing bowl.
  2. Use your fingers to gently mix everything together being careful not to over mix.
  3. Divide the ground turkey mixture into four roughly 4 ounce patties.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add 1 tablespoon of oil and then add the patties. Cook for 5-6 minutes and then flip the burgers and cook for another 5-6 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. When the burgers are fully cooked turn off the heat, and add 1 slice of cheese to the top of each patty. Cover the pan with a lid to help the cheese melt. The residual heat in the pan should help the cheese melt.
  6. Remove the patties from the pan and assemble your burgers on toasted brioche buns with all your favorite toppings.
