Ingredients

  • 3 large ripe avocados
  • 1/3 cup finely diced red onion
  • 1 small jalapeño, cored and finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste
  • pinch of black pepper

Method

  1. Slice, pit, and scoop the avocados into a mixing bowl. Use a fork to mash the avocados to you preferred consistency.
  2. Add the red onion, jalapeño, garlic, lime juice, chopped cilantro, salt, and pepper to the mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
  3. Give the guacamole a taste and adjust the amount of salt, cilantro, lime juice, etc. to your liking if needed.
  4. Serve with tortilla chips!
