Description

This roasted garlic lemon broccoli recipe is the perfect dinner side dish any day of the week. If you don’t love broccoli, or you’re looking for a new way to make an old favorite, this is the recipe you need! Not only is it delicious, this recipe is also Whole30 compliant, Paleo-friendly, and naturally gluten-free.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups fresh broccoli florets

  • 3 tablespoons avocado oil or melted ghee

  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (plus more to taste)

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

  2. Cut any larger broccoli florets in half to make sure all of the broccoli is roughly the same size.

  3. Place the broccoli in a mixing bowl. Add in the oil, salt, black pepper, garlic, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Toss until the broccoli is well coated in the oil and seasonings.

  4. Transfer the broccoli to a large sheet pan and bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through. The broccoli should be tender and a little browned around the edges. Give the broccoli a taste halfway through to see if it needs more salt, pepper, or garlic and make any adjustments)

  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
