Description

This simple Pan Seared Salmon comes together with just a few ingredients and cooks in 10 minutes or less! Pair it with roasted potatoes or rice and veggies for a complete meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 - 6oz pieces of salmon (center cut), skin removed
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tablespoon avocado or olive oil
  • fresh lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel and then season liberally with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a large pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the avocado or olive oil.
  3. Cook the salmon 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown, crisp, and the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees.
  4. Remove the salmon from the pan and finish with a squeeze of lemon.
