Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  1. Use a sharp knife to cut the chicken breast in half, lengthwise.
  2. Add the mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and oil to a mixing bowl. Whisk together until well combined.
  3. Next, add the chicken breast pieces to the mixing bowl and use a pair of tongs to toss it in the marinade until it is completely coated. Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Add 2-3 pieces of chicken to your air fryer basket. You may be able to add more chicken, depending on the size of your air fryer, but you want to ensure the chicken is not overlapping. Touching is fine but make sure the chicken is in a single layer.
  5. Cook the chicken at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes, depending on the thickness of your chicken, until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit. I like to start checking the temperature at around 10 minutes. Repeat until all of the chicken is cooked.
