- 1 cup quinoa, rinsed and drained
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 3/4 cup water or broth (chicken or veggie)
Instructions
- Add the quinoa, salt, olive oil, and water to a medium pot.
- Bring the quinoa to a boil, cover the pot with a lid, and reduce the heat to a simmer.
- Simmer the quinoa for 15 minutes and then remove from the heat.
- Let the quinoa sit, off the heat, for 10 minutes and then uncover.
- Fluff with a fork and serve.
