Ingredients

  • 1 cup quinoa, rinsed and drained
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 3/4 cup water or broth (chicken or veggie)

Method

  1. Add the quinoa, salt, olive oil, and water to a medium pot.
  2. Bring the quinoa to a boil, cover the pot with a lid, and reduce the heat to a simmer.
  3. Simmer the quinoa for 15 minutes and then remove from the heat.
  4. Let the quinoa sit, off the heat, for 10 minutes and then uncover.
  5. Fluff with a fork and serve.
