Description

This homemade Honey BBQ Sauce recipe is sweet, tangy, and incredibly easy to make! If you’ve never tried making your own homemade bbq sauce then this is the recipe you need because it’s quick, easy to follow, and turns out perfect every single time. In less than 30 minutes you’ll have the perfect condiment or dipping sauce for chicken, burgers, sandwiches, and more! 


Ingredients

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 cayenne pepper


Instructions

  1. Add all of the bbq sauce ingredients to a small sauce pan and whisk together until well combined.
  2. Bring the sauce to a boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer. Cover and let the sauce simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and let cool.
  3. Store in an air-tight container or jar.
