This Easy Teriyaki Sauce Recipe is sweet, tangy, and better than anything store-bought. All you need are eight simple ingredients and a few minutes, and it’s ready for you to use in a variety of different recipes!

- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup coconut aminos
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon crushed ginger
- 6 cloves garlic, crushed or finely minced
Cornstarch Slurry
- 2 tablespoons warm water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to a sauce pan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Be careful to watch it so it doesn’t boil over.
- While you bring the sauce to a simmer make the cornstarch slurry by whisking together the warm water and cornstarch in a small bowl.
- Once the sauce is simmering, whisk in the cornstarch slurry. Let the sauce simmer for 1-2 minutes and continue to thicken.
- Remove from the heat and let cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
