Description

Homemade Chex Mix with that classic savory flavor and lots of crunch! This quick recipe is tastier than store-bought options and so easy to make at home. 


Ingredients

  • 3 cups wheat Chex cereal
  • 3 cups rice Chex cereal
  • 3 cups corn Chex cereal
  • 3/4 cup garlic bagel chips
  • 3/4 cup Gardetto's Garlic Rye Chips
  • 2 cups Tiny Twists pretzels
  • 2 cups Cheez-It Original crackers
  • 8 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Add the Chex cereals, bagel chips, rye chips, pretzels, and Cheez-Its to a large mixing bowl. Toss gently until well combined.
  3. Whisk together the melted butter, onion powder, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, dry mustard salt, sugar, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter mixture over the cereal mix and toss gently until well coated.
  5. Transfer the mix to an extra large baking sheet and spread in one even layer.
  6. Bake the Chex mix at 250 degrees for 1 hour, tossing gently every 15 minutes.
  7. Transfer the Chex mix to paper towels and let cool. Once cool serve or store in air-tight containers or storage bags.
