I love a good protein shake after a tough workout and this has become my new favorite flavor combination. It’s thick, creamy, and just a little sweet and has the flavor of a slice of vanilla cake in the form of a protein shake!

- 1 large frozen banana
- 1 tablespoon cashew butter
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla, cake batter, or unflavored)
- 3/4 - 1 cup almond milk
- sprinkles, for topping
- optional: 1 tablespoon maple syrup (helps add some additional sweetness, especially if you're using unflavored protein powder)
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to a high powered blender.
- Blend everything until smooth and creamy. You can add a bit more liquid if needed.
