Description

These Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Wings are so easy to make and turn out perfectly crispy every single time. The wings are air fried instead of deep fried but still turn out crispy, golden, and juicy. They make for a great weeknight dinner, game day snack, or crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds split chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and then add them to a large mixing bowl. Add the avocado oil and baking powder to the wings and toss until well coated.
  3. Once the air fryer has preheated, place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook the wings at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until the wings are crispy and golden, shaking the basket or flipping halfway through. Depending on the size of your air fryer you may have to break this up into two batches.
  4. Once all of the wings are done cooking, transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Season with salt, pepper, and all of the dried spices. Toss until well combined.
  5. Transfer the wings to a serving platter, garnish with thinly sliced green onion and serve with your favorite dipping sauces. Enjoy!
